WOVEN TEXT

As a graphic designer I’m always intrigued by typographic design. And when I saw ‘Woven Text’ by graphic designer Evelin Kasikov I was immediately fascinated by the details and beauty. Evelin: ‘Woven Text is a stitched typographic installation created for The Threads That Bind Us exhibition. Woven Text is based on fragments of text that we see on screen in front of us every day: when we log out from an online account or when we forget a password. When turned into large scale layered text, these questions take on a whole new meaning’. Each letter is created on a grid of 3 x 5 squares.
